Why should I choose Sweet Release?
Most our products are made from scratch using our own recipes to give you and your friends a unique Sweet Release experience. If you are dairy free, egg free, nut free vegan, you have the assurance that we are a fully vegan, nut free shop so there is the least risk of contamination compared to other places. Please note that manufacturers cannot guarantee their products and we use ingredients that have "May Contain".
What services do you provide?
We are a cafe with a selection of hot and cold drinks, sweet treats in our cabinet food and food to order via our menu in store or via Uber, DoorDash or DeliverEasy. We do whole cakes, catering and coming soon, baking classes!
Do you have Wifi?
Yes! And it's free! Just ask the team at the counter for the password when you put your order through.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we have paywave and accept credit cards in store. For our website orders, we accept bank payments, paypal,and credit card.
Do you Deliver?
Yes, our menu can be purchased for delivery via Deliver Easy, Uber Eats and Door Dash.
Do you take reservations
Yes. Please call our shop phone 0272853046 during open hours to reserve a table.
I need a cake asap. Do you have any in store ready to go?
We always have whole cakes ready to go at the shop for those last minute cake needs. Check out our Facebook or Instagram stories which we update every morning with what's available then ring the shop on 0272853046.
Do you cater for special diets and allergies?
We believe everyone should be able to eat delicious treats. Our products are vegan, dairy free, egg free and nut free by default. We have plenty of gluten free options on our menu which we cook in dedicated GF fryers, grill top and pans. Let the team know of any allergies and we'll let you know what you can eat from the menu.
What is a pay it forward voucher?
It started out an initiative to help feed people in need during the first lockdown. It has since evolved into weekly appreciation packages to those working in the front line or charities. If you would like to purchase a pay it meal voucher you can purchase them here. It costs $10.
What is your policy with paying bloggers?
We have a policy of saying no to offers to write about us in exchange for free food.
What is your policy with donating to charities?
We focus our donations to our Vegan Vault community, Wellington Rape Crisis annual appeal and a few animal charities every year. If you would like to discuss your fundraiser with us, feel free to drop us a line.
